Mark your calendar for the fourth annual, virtual Carbon Friendly Forestry Conference
Dates: November 17-18th, 2020*
*Exact times of sessions TBA
The pandemic has demanded a lot from all of us, and has upended our families, communities, and work lives. To ensure the safety and health of attendees in an uncertain world, this year the Carbon Friendly Forestry Conference will be a virtual event. The conference will still aim to explore and discuss the intersections of forest management, communities, climate change and more in West Coast working forests.
We are still figuring out many details, including formats and times of the conference sessions. The goal is for these sessions not to take up entire days, but rather be spaced out over two days to reduce time demands and video-call fatigue for participants. We recommend marking these dates on your calendar as we work out further scheduling details.
The cost of attendance will be significantly reduced compared to the previous in-person conference. Registration will likely open in late September or early October, and we will make more details available as plans are ironed out.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or other thoughts, please share them with us by emailing email@example.com. If you did not receive this email directly and are therefore not on our outreach list, you can sign-up to receive conference updates here.
