Help Us Showcase Sustainable Forestry in Washington State

Do you have a stream restoration project you're proud of?  A favorite grove of trees?  An example of stellar wildlife habitat you helped a tree farmer create?

Submit a photo of your accomplishments or favorite view of your tree farm for the Washington State Tree Farm-Washington State Society of American Foresters 2021 Calendar.  The sale of these calendars will enable these organizations to continue supporting sustainable forestry in our state.

Deadline to enter is September 28, 2020.

Open to Tree Farmers and SAF members in good standing.  Photos must depict sustainable forestry in action and one of the four elements of the tree farm program: wood, water, recreation, or wildlife.  Tree farms, SAF members, or tree farm inspectors may also be featured.

Limit three photos per Tree Farms and SAF member.  To enter, email photo(s) to the Washington Tree Farm Program with "Tree Farm Photo Contest" in the subject line to calendar@watreefarm.org.  If your photo is chosen, you will receive a complimentary calendar.  Entries must be received by midnight on September 28, 2020.

By entering, you give the Washington Tree Farm Program and/or Washington State Society of American Foresters permission to use the photos on their respective websites, future publications, and promotional media.  The Washington Tree Farm Program and Washington State SAF will credit the photgrapher in such instances.  Photo(s) of minor(s) must include written permission of a parent or legal guardian.  Additional information can be found on the Washington Tree Farm Program website (https://watreefarm.org/) and the Washington State SAF website (http://www.washington.forestry.org/washington-state).
