2018 WSSAF Annual Meeting

Washington State SAF Annual Meeting

May 2–4, 2018

Cowlitz County Event Center

1900 7th Ave, Longview, WA

The Washington State Society of American Foresters is proud to announce that it will hold its annual meeting on May 2-4 at the Cowlitz County Event Center in Longview, Wash. The Longview/Kelso area on the lower Columbia River was founded and continues to thrive on its forests, lumber and paper mills, and river ports providing access to the Pacific. Much change has occurred and more should be expected. This year’s meeting theme is “Forestry Change Agents.” We will review where we are today and look forward to where various change agents may take us.

Located in the shadow of Mount St. Helens along the Columbia River, Longview has been a hub of forestry activity for over a century. With a wide variety of private and public forestland, export facilities and some of the most advanced sawmills in the world, Longview is the perfect location for this year’s Washington State SAF Annual Meeting.
